Thit Joyor S10-S electric scooter is so fun and so fast! I've had other electric scooters in the past and they were all underpowered. This scooter has 2x 1000w motors for plenty of power. My main use case for this scooter was to ride to and from work which is about two miles from my home. This scooter takes my 215lb body plus my 30lb backpack ('m in IT and have all my junk in my work bag) up a long hill easily at 30+ mph.The speed/power levels are easy to change. You have access to speed levels and then within each level can have just one or both motors active allowing for really what amounts to 6 "gears."The lights are easy to turn on/off.The suspension is a little soft, so if you are a heavier person, no big jumps, okay? basic riding at my weight is fine, no bottoming out and the ride is very smooth.Tires and maintenance are where this scooter is a bit rough. I popped an innertube on the back tire after jumping off a curb onto asphalt. I am a pretty good DIY'er and figured while I was at it I would swap out the tires for a more street friendly tread pattern. I went onto Amazon and found the correct tire and innertube, which was the same size as the more offroad tread that comes on the scooter from the manufacturer and waited for it to arrive. Getting a tire off was NOT easy, I was disappointed that the Joyor people do not have many videos on YT showing tire replacements for this model. There were others on there but the differences between models is significant. once I got the tire off it became evident the wiring harness would need to be removed as well as the hub is "backwards" for allowing the tire to easily be changed. This was becoming quickly a bigger job then I felt conformable handling. I took it to a electric scooter shop in town and they were able to swap out the tires and innertubes but it cost me $150 in labor as the guy indicated that many scooter brands put the motors and hubs in differently so that the tire removal process is easier. This really is the only true complaint for this scooter.Bottom line is this scooter is VERY fun to ride, goes way fast and i''ve gone 40 miles between charges. If joyor came out with the same scooter but installed the hubs differently so that the tire and innertube changes could be made easier this would be a 5 star scooter. Until I see that change we are stuck at 4.This scooter has been great! (We got the 1000W version) I've ridden a number of different electric scooters and this is by far the best in my opinion, great price too, here's a few pros and cons I've found:Pros:Comfortable ride, the shocks are great. Other scooters chatter your teeth when you hit bumps, not this one.It's fast, I've hit 34 mph on this. Keeping up with traffic around town feels safer.Very responsive, you punch the throttle and this thing moves!Off-roading is fun, I've taken it on a few trails and it performs wellWide foot pad, this is ideal, not too skinny and not too big, just right for stabilityIt looks cool, people respect this scooter when they see itGood Display, its neat to see the ODO, max speed, etc.Cons:Battery runs out quickly at full throttle, if you need to go more than 15 miles in one shot, don't. I've ended up walking this a few times because I overestimated battery life. I'm also going full speed in 3rd gear.Folding is hard, the latch does not click in or out easily, maybe this could be adjusted.Knobby tires are fun off-road, not great in city streets, would be nice to have a street or all-terrain tire option.In my option, if the battery life were improved, this would be the ideal scooter design. I can get from A to B around town on this faster than I can in my car. I go as fast as any car on a 25MPH road, pass those cars when I get to front of the line at red lights, don't have to worry about parking on busy downtown streets and I don't have to worry about gas, vehicle registration or tax costs associated with all the vehicles I'm passing. Doesn't get much better than that!
