It came with mounting instructions which were easy to follow. The plastic is high quality acrylic and easy to see through and looks like it will stop all but the largest garbage kicked up on the roadway. It is very tall, which was what I wanted, but even I was surprised at how high it mounted. The mounting bars wiggle a very little at speed, but to annoyingly so. What you can't see in the picture is that the top bows out slightly which seems to move air around your head, rather than over the top.Without a helmet there was no wind noise at all. I did not pick any bugs out of my beard and it was just what I was looking for. It does present a big obstacle to the air, though and on a 150cc, my top speed dropped from 60 to about 55.I'm happy with this purchase.
