I've been riding it for about a week and half now (about 90 miles) and it's been great for commuting to my school and work, and doing groceries. I weigh about 130lbs and usually carry about 5-10lbs and I get about 10 miles on 40% of the battery and max out at around 15.5 mph on flat roads. It does peak at 17mph on a full charge, but that drops down to 15-16 pretty quickly. It was a bit of a stiff ride at first, but I think the shocks have broken in and the ride feels a lot better now.Pros:-Compact (easy to fit on train or bus)-Airless tires-Quick to charge-Suspension-Lightwight-Affordable with solid constructionCons:-Bare bones Functionality (no cruise control)-Poor App support (only in metric, doesn't ad very much outside of electronically locking)-Speed control does not function without the app and the 3rd speed limit made no difference from no limit-A little slow (15.5 at 140lbs flat roads)If you like this scooter, but you are much heavier, you rid on a lot of inclines, or you ride longer trips, I definitely recommend checking out the GT SE model with a bigger battery, faster top speed and cruise control. But at $650, I can't complain about this scooter and it has been perfect for my use case. For context this is the 1st eScooter i've ever owned or ridden :)I researched & selected this scooter with the use-case that i wanted to maximize light weight and performance. Turns out seems a good choice. 25 lbs is easy to carry and handle; I've put 200 miles on it in just a few weeks. IBest things: light weight, fast charging, decent power, solid build, suspension! , simple to use - it arrived ready to go no assembly or tools.Worst things: cant see display in the daytime, shitty on steep hills.General: for me, this was the perfect 1st eScooter. Im mid 50's in age so it took a few miles to get savvy as a rider but after 150 miles on it i feel extremely confident and comfortable. I've ridden in crowded areas the acceleration is well modulated, the re-gen braking quite good. I'm about 200lbs. I can confidently go 12 miles on a charge. Speed: on level ground i'm passing most bicycle riders - i'd say 15mph maybe a bit more. Charging is about 3 hours for complete charge.I'd love to try the GT version which is listed at about double the speed and range, and almost the same weight.Fun story: i rode up to a beach event and parked next to some Unagi's and Segways which were surprisingly larger, looked much heavier, clunkier, and had NO suspension - and from research i know had less power. The suspension is key and i will not ever ride a small scoot without having it.For the buyer: Customer service (email) has been good. If you like the specs then i say dont worry about the brand or reviews or whatever just get it. It is not at all junky and i'm impressed & quite happy with it & it's super fun !!Have been riding the E-TWOW GT for about a month now and it’s amazing! Morning and evening commutes to the Metra in Chicago are so much fun now. If you are looking for a portable, compact (when folded), fast scooter than look no further. I did a ton of research and ended up buying the E-TWOW and do not regret it one bit.PROs:• Fast• Extremely Portable/Compact• Lightweight• StylishCONs:• Smaller tires so you will feel lots of bumps in road and have to be careful with Chicago pot holes.• Battery drains much faster when scooter speed setting is set at the highest level (which is to be expected)i’m 5’1 and the muscle in my arms are nonexistent. previously had the ninebot es4 - way too big, clunky, heavy, and overpowered for my needs. i can’t say much on this product’s longevity since i only got it today but it has solved every problem i had with my other scooter. its small form factor and light weight make it extremely portable, but it can go fast and it’s comfortable as long as you don’t mind a bit (and i mean just a bit) of shakiness.TLDR: i wanted an electric scooter for convenience and this was perfect for that.If I had to find a fault, it was that the rear spokes make it impossible to lock with a traditional bike lock. I had to find a lock with a very thin end to fit between the thick spokes of the rear wheel. The front wheel is solid.Otherwise, it is a comfortable ride, ease to manage, and not to heavy (if you are not traveling very far with it in one hand, but the included carry handle does help).Bought this one for my 9 yr old kid to commute to school. He used to ride a Micro scooter (shown in pic side by side), not electric powered. After trying the electric one, he doesn't want to switch back anymore ?. I tried it myself too. Here are the good things i like:- big wheels. That's big time. Big wheels boosts your riding experience a new level, similar to cars. It lets you feel less bumpy and comfortable when you hit the road.- powerful discharge. You can feel the power immediately after you slide the acceleration handle. Good for adult but suggest turn on the speed limit and safety feature for kids.- easy to handle. Just two handle bars, one for speed, one for brake.- 2 ways of braking. You can slow down by either turning the braking handle, or the traditional way by stepping on the mud guard of the rear wheel, or both if you will.- an easy hook for hanging bags. A small feature can save more of your energy.- likely the battery is good for long range. I didn't tested the mileage of a full discharge. But it rides about 8 miles for about 10% of battery. But I'm not quite sure since the meter can only report X0% like 60%, 70%...Some cons too:- it's still a little heavy for kids to hold after fold.- all operations on the control panel will make a bright beep sound which is a little noisy.- the control panel should have a better way to tell users if the scooter is changing or not. So far i can only tell it is charging by waiting for the battery power jumping for another 10%.
